 In
order to accommodate a wide range of customer needs Rostra has developed
the ability to perform short production runs. To supplement our Engineering
Services we have designated machinery that is devoted separately
to produce smaller quantities of products outside the factory's normal
course of operation. This provides us the ability to avoid schedule
conflicts with those items mass produced and minimize the lead times
often associated with small quantity special orders.
In addition, this aspect of our operation is important to effectively
roll-out new products, test-market samples without delay, provide
for no charge prototyping, and avoid bottlenecks in production. It
also avoids customers having to incur sizable inventories to offset
the cost of new product production. It is a key contributing factor
supporting the continual success of our Engineering and Product Development
Services and an important consideration to those customers who utilize
these services. |
